EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR PRESS RELEASE

Native Village of Eyak Executive
Director, Angela Arnold

Robert Henrichs, President of the Native Village of Eyak Traditional Tribal Council announced that the Tribal Council has appointed Angela Arnold to the position of Executive Director of the Tribe.
“We congratulate Angela on her new position. In the past, we have had Tribal Members as acting administrators, but she is the first to become our Executive Director,” Henrichs says. “There was some stiff competition for the job, but we wanted to give one of our own a shot. We expect great things of her.”
Arnold brings with her a Masters in Public Administration from Kent State University and has previously served for two years as NVE’s Deputy Director.
“I look forward to continuing the success of the Native Village of Eyak,” says Arnold. “I am honored to have this opportunity and will work hard to achieve the goals of the Tribe.”
Arnold, a lifelong NVE Tribal Member, is the daughter of Jack and Alice Reilly and has a long family history in the Prince William Sound area. She and husband, retired USCG EMC Brian Arnold, look forward to raising their three children in the community where she grew up.
