Elder Services

Native Village of Eyak provides elder services to eligible elders residing with Native Village of Eyak’s boundaries. These services are available to qualifying Alaska Native and American Indians, and are dependent upon funding.

Gloria Cunningham is our Elder Services Coordinator, Jackie Ladd is our Elder Services Assistant.
Both are qualified, caring individuals who are committed to quality elder programs at Native Village of Eyak.

These services include:

                                    Nutritional services
                                    Walking group at long term care facility
                                    Meal tickets to Senior lunches
                                    Transportation services within Cordova
                                    Activities such as Elder Sewing Circle and Mug-up
                                    Trips to places such as Nuciiq spirit camp
                                    Limited chore services and activities of daily living assistance
                                    Limited advocacy services
                                    Elder wood delivery
